How do I withdraw money from my checking account?

I’ve read that you make out a check payable to cash, so does that mean that you write ‘Cash’ where it says payable to or do I put my name there?
Do I have to fill out a withdrawal slip or a deposit slip? or simply hand them the check?
I figure asking here where people don’t know me, won’t make me look like an idiot than if I asked in person lol. I’ve always stored my money in envelopes, so I’m new to my account.

Yes, just write “Cash” and give it to the bank teller. No need to fill out any other slips.

You also might want to get a debit/atm card connected to your checking account. That way you can just withdraw money from your bank’s atm machine if they are not open.
